Our session will be

  • Personalized

Our initial sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current accent patterns and creating a personalized plan to fit your unique speaking needs and goals.

  • Targeted

A personalized syllabus will be provided before each class, to target your specific sound needs and patterns. Classes focus on helping students hear and say sounds that may not exist in your native language.

  • Integrative

Since language learning is more than completing structured exercises, conversation practice with professional feedback is incorporated. This helps students integrate newly learned skills. Conversation practice can be reading, conversation topics, interview practice, or material you provide, such as business presentations.

FAQs

What level of English proficiency do I need to participate in accent classes with all about accents?

To get the most out of your sessions, accent classes are ideal for intermediate to advanced English language speakers. This is because classes cover speaking tasks that are intermediate-advanced fluency.

What can I expect in the first lesson?

The first lesson starts with a short sound assessment, about 15 minutes, to learn about your pronunciation in American English, and this will help structure material for future classes. We will jump into some teaching material and lessons to complete the 60 minute class time. Early lessons usually focus on 1 consonant and 1 vowel sound. Once sounds are solid, we incorporate advanced topics like the American English ‘T’ and vowel reduction.

How do I make payment for classes?

Payment for each class is expected to be received before class time. Classes are paid for individually, although some students request purchasing 4 classes at a time. Students paying with Euros use a bank transfer, and students with other currencies typically use Wise.com for transfers into Euros. Invoices can be provided upon request.
